Yamaha xs250 special - ONE OF A KIND

Hi. You are bidding on my Yamaha xs250 Special. I have owned this bike for 5 years. but never found the time to ride it. I got a MOT in 2008. but never really went out on it. As this has been sat in my garage for all this time. the bike turns over(with jump leads) but does not start. It might be some old fuel. or just needs a carb clean. but it will be great for a winter project to get back up and running. The overall condition is good. bearing in mind its age. just a few items that need replacing. i. e rear number plate cracked. seat lock needs replacing. tank lock needs replacing (hard to unlock) there is also a mark on the fuel tank. I have never seen this bike anywhere like this. no too sure how much is original (like the exhaust) but the crome will only need a bit of a polish! I am selling this at present as a non runner. but i am now need to sell it if i dont get the reserve i want (what i paid and spent on it) All the electrics are in good working order. i did buy a new battery when i got the MOT in 2008. but not too sure whether it will hold its charge.
