Triumph Tiger Cub, T20, 1960/61, Pre 65 Trials Project.

For auction without reserve. this Triumph Tiger Cub 200cc trialler project. ideal for doing over this winter. This bike was one that was coming together alongside two others. one of them being an original road version T20. It has non matching engine and frame numbers. but they're close enough together to be 1960-61 for registration purposes. There is no V5 or documentation at present. I haven't been into any part of the bike myself to confirm. but the previous owner says the engine has been rebuilt with a roller big end. bearings. NOS inner timing cover. s/steel distributor clamp. new rocker feed pipe and various oil seals. The gear cluster is in very good condition. as is the clutch. with a great feel at the bars. A Mikuni carb's been fitted also. but needs setting up properly as it was spitting and popping the last time it fired up. The front sprocket's a 17. and the chain's a new Renold item. obviously to suit a larger rear sprocket for trialling. It has the wider swingarm fitted (so I'm told). and has good 21" & 18" Pirelli's. along with new cables.  The rims could do with a good Solvol. especially the rear. Clearly. everything will need pulling apart for painting etc' prior to final assembly. but that's a project for you. Check out the pictures.
