Norton Electra Rare Motorcycle project Spares Or Rebuild. 1965Not totally complete but a really good start to build one of these rare Norton Electra projects. There is a document from when the machine came back to UK. It will help with V5C registration and identification. The Norton Owners club are also very helpful and have a Lightweight section within the club. The frame and Engine numbers match each other.  This motorcycle has been to Albuquerque in its lifetime and has been in my shed for several years. I have not got the time or space to do this project so time to move it on as downsizing my collection.  I did own and ride one of these bikes a few years back and had great fun. finding it comfortable and safe with the neat short road holder forks providing stable handling. What you see is what you get so please study the photographs carefully. The seat base is a home made job but shouldn't be difficult to find a replacement as Jubilee/Navigator and some Francis Barnet will fit.  Collection only. cash preferred  or possible delivery after substantial non refundable deposit.
