Description

Here is a rare Electric start Bonneville T140 ES - one of the very last machines to come out of the classic Triumph Meriden factory - made by the Workers' Cooperative which wound up in late 1982. 5 Speed gearbox, eft-side gear change.
Machine is in Stock condition - No modifications have been made from new.
Video of bike starting and running - available - please ask.
Few E-start 750's were made (perhaps less than 400) and typical for British factories, nce they perfected the E-start, otorcycle production ceased. Triumph got their engineering right with this model, nlike the Norton Commando and Trident, his e-start works efficiently every time.
I am the second owner of the bike, riginally sold in Illinois. It has been looked after in dry storage and well-maintained and I have some of the service records.
Runs strong - torquey and fast - No smoke at all.
Clutch is light and good; all gears select; all electrical components work as intended. New battery; oil changed; Tires are fine; No dents on any sheet metal; fenders and stays have No cracks; electric blue tank and side panel Paint is in very nice. Frame paint is also very good. the only item missing is one plastic cap on one of the rear Marzocchi shock resevoirs. Some small blemishes here and there from being ridden but nothing serious at all. There is a small paint chip off one of the side panels.
Inspect all photos and ask any questions; if you wish -call- 818 577 9533.

This is a good motorcycle. Rare model in the classic Triumph line-up. Good for classic riders wishing to ride well into life.
