Honda ST1100 Pan European - EX Police

Welcome to the sale of my Honda ST1100 Pan European. which is an ex police bike. I bought this in November last year with the aim of doing some touring. but never got round to it and probably wont. the bike is to big for me to use as an every day commuter and as i have just got a smaller bike it has to go. The bike has been reliable since i had it and hasn't let me down. the engine was replaced with one from another ex police bike. therefore i can t guarantee the mileage of the engine. i still have the receipt dated October 2011. Good pointsThe Oil & filter. air filter brake fluid and fork oil were replaced in December 2013. Fork seals and dust covers replaced May 2014. Passed its MOT in August without  any advisoriesPlenty of tread on the tyresBike comes with 2 screens 1* standard (Fitted) & 1 * tall (shown in a couple of the photos)Both panniers lock and are easily removedWhen i bought the bike the mechanic hat serviced for me said it was in good mechanical condition. including swing arm. head and wheel bearings. stainless steel down pipes etc. right hand lockable inner fairing pocket works fineFitted with both centre stand and side standNot so good pointsAs visible in the photos the right pannier has some duct tape on it.  this is as a result of some considerate person running into it with a shopping trolley then disappearing.  i was going to get it repainted. Left hand inner fairing pocket was fitted with a police radio. which has been removed. the lid was still in place but the wind lifts it up at speed so i have duct taped it down.  i was planning on replacing this with an original inner pocket. The ignition key can be removed whilst the engine is running but doesn't come out under normal driving conditions. (I keep my keys attached to a security line any way)other than the issues i have pointed out the bike has the usual scuffs and marks you'd expect on a bike of this age and mileage.  the mileage is currently 83700. which will increase as it is being used going to work. Test rides considered if you can leave £1500 cash. have proof of insurance and can leave photo drivers license as security. taking into account i am not a mechanic i believe i have described the bike accurately. warts and all. Viewing is recommended and the bike is sold as seen without any warantee and is not returnable. (for some reason i cant change the setting on ebay.
