1985 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide FXWG

 This 1985 Wide Glide had been sitting on display in a dealers showroom since 1993. This was the first year for an evo motor in the Wide Glide and the last of the 4-speed kickers. Of course it has electric start also. belt final drive.

Typical of the era. the owner chromed everything he could remove from the bike. These are all the OEM parts. not aftermarket. The only other changes include a Mikuni flat-slide carb and H-D accessory mufflers.

We simply put some gas in the tank. installed a new battery and fired it up. Bike runs and drives perfect.

The original paint has 2 minor blemishes. There are a few chips along the edge of the rear fender and a scratch through the clear on the front fender. I have included a close up shot of these in the photos. You can see they are very minor but needed to be mentioned because the rest of the bike is absolutely flawless. This is the cleanest. lowest mileage Wide Glide you may ever find.
