Vehicle History: This is a great little vehicle that I purchased in mid 2014 from a collector in Cheyenne. I had hoped to overhaul it and use it as a delivery truck for my small business. but I have since decided not to move forward with the project as I will likely be closing down the business. I used it for a few weeks. and I have to say that it's pretty fun to drive. Gets tons of attention wherever it goes. The vehicle was completely tuned up by and awesome scooter company called Rolling Wrench. but since then a carburetor gasket went and needs replacing to make this functional again. That said. I think this vehicle is great for someone with the mechanical savvy to tend to such issues. It's definitely a project. but will be pretty great for the right person. Personally. I think it would make for an awesome electric conversion. With some retrofitting. this could serve well as a small food cart. too. Was first used in CA as a meter maid vehicle. I believe I am the 4th owner based off the info I can find. Has been garaged for the last few years by a collector before I purchased it. No prior history available beyond previous owner. This vehicle is currently designated as STREET LEGAL in Colorado as a "motorcycle" with the DMV. If you wish to use it in another state on the roads. you should check in advance with your DMV.   Body Condition: Fair Needs sanding. some screwholes from previous modifications should be filled. and certainly a paint job! I stripped the vehicle of a wood veneer that came on it. A previous owner had also painted designs on the side. Basically. a sanding and paint job will have this looking spiffy.   Interior Condition: Fair Interior has after-market foam insulation that should be stripped away. as it is coming off. There is a relatively new bench seat installed. Glass on windshield is in good condition. and side windows (plexi) could use replacing some day (foggy)Engine Condition: Fair. but needs work to run This is the part that I will be as detailed as possible on. Disclaimer: I am relaying what my mechanic told me. and this is to the best of my knowledge. with no express guarantees as to whether or not his assessment is 100% accurate. I had a trustworthy motorcycle/RTV repair shop in Denver tune up the vehicle back in July of 2014. At this time. he replaced an aging fuel pump. After the tuneup. everything ran very well. and the mechanic commented on the great condition of the engine. After about a few weeks of regular driving. it began to stall out and finally cease to start. After an exhaustive diagnostic. the same mechanic identified the issue as a leaking carburator gasket/seal. While he believed this would solve the problem. he wasn't sure about acquiring the proper OEM part to fix it. At that time. I shelved the project. as I needed to focus on growing my small business with a reliable delivery vehicle. Now that I will be closing my business. I do not plan to revisit this project. It has been sitting in the garage since. That said. I'm sure a savvy mechanic or hobbyist could probably fix it pretty easily.
